I’m sorry to hear the code is not working for you.
I test all code, images, datasets, etc. before I include them in a blog post and publish the code.
Here are a few suggestions you should try:
- Did you use the “Downloads” section of the tutorial to download the source code? (The downloads section can be found at the bottom of the post, just above the comments section).
- Did you copy and paste the code from a tutorial? If so, stop immediately and use the “Downloads” section — you may have introduced an error or bug when copying and pasting.
- Have you double and triple checked the paths to the input files are correct?
- Have you tried running the code from the command line and not an IDE or Jupyter Notebook?
- Have you verified you are passing in the proper command line arguments to the script?
- Have you searched StackOverflow for the error?
- If your error is related to a specific library, have you searched for the error on the library’s GitHub page?
- Have you read the comments section or at least did ctrl + f search on the page for your error? Most common errors are addressed in the comments.
If you think you found a bug in the tutorial, you should contact me.
